Delivery

Pre-Orders available between 30th September 2026 - 1st December 2026.

Stock arrives on the 1st December and our shoe elves will be working hard to package your shoes as quickly as we can and get them safely to you as soon as possible. 

We will keep you up to date with one or two email between your purchase and delivery so you are kept in the loop with everything. But if you are concerned about anything please reach out to our founder Jo on email: jo@wingate-studio.com and she will be happy to help. 

Currently we are only planning on shipping within the UK - but if you are in Europe please drop Jo and Email and we can look into how to get some shoes to you !

If for any reason you are not happy with your shoes or TShirt you can return them for an exchange or refund.

We are Pre-Launch and your purchase is a Pre-Order if bought before 1st December 2026. 

As soon as the stock arrives we will get everything neatly shipped out to you as soon as possible. 

You will have your shoes before Christmas! 

If for any reason you are not happy with the size or fit or product you can return as normal for an exchange or refund.

The Purbeck 8 is our first barefoot shoe, designed to bring together natural foot movement and contemporary everyday style. Its clean, understated trainer silhouette has been created to look at home in your wardrobe without looking like a typical barefoot shoe.

Built around barefoot principles, Purbeck 8 features a wide, foot-shaped toe box that gives your toes room to spread naturally, a zero-drop profile and our thin, flexible custom-designed Wingate sole.

Available in premium LWG Gold-certified leather and suede, every Purbeck 8 includes a natural cork footbed and adjustable lace-up fit for everyday comfort.

Made with less plastic

We’ve replaced conventional synthetic toe and heel reinforcements with reinforced cotton, plastic lace ends with bio-acetate, and use recycled PET thread for our stitching. We then use responsibly sourced leather or suede for the upper and leather for the lining.

Our outsole is still synthetic rubber. We haven't yet found an alternative that delivers the flexibility, durability, performance and attainable price we need — but we're still looking.
